One Year Down!

My first year of teaching has officially been survived!  It was an interesting year to say the least.  I will miss my students and I will certainly remember them forever.  My situation this year was tough, but looking back, it really was a blessing.  Teaching part time really gave me time to focus on my class, try new things, and reflect on everything that happened immediately.  Thankfully, I was also able to try my hand at teaching full time for a few months, and based on my own reactions and the continuing positive reactions from students and their parents, I did a rather fine job. Now I just have to figure out what will happen next.  Here’s to hoping!

Now it’s the season for more time spent at the bridal shop, jazz in the park, beach trips, weddings, random road trips, sightseeing, picture taking, pools, berry picking, reading, and hopefully all around fun and relaxation.  It should look a little something like this:

That looks like happiness to me!  Goodbye school for now.  It was nice knowing you.  I will see you again in August!
