The different, creative, adventurous recipes are fun most of the time, but sometimes you just need those comforting chocolate chip cookies. I have to admit, I am not someone who gravitates toward a typical chocolate chip cookie. They are delicious and comforting, but I would rather have something a little bit interesting. If you add some oatmeal, and even a little bit of coconut, well, now we are speaking a different language.
A very reliable source passed along this oatmeal chocolate chip cookie along with the knowledge that it is the roommate’s favorite cookie. I think I won over a heart (thanks, reliable source). Not to mention that I had my awesome new scraper blade to try out, and because of that we have been swimming in cookies around here. I’m not complaining.
