My very first niece, Makayla Penelope.

I haven’t met her yet, but all I have heard is that she’s a sleeper, she has a full head of hair and, unlike most other newborn babies, she isn’t weird looking.  She definitely belongs in the family.  In my opinion she’s absolutely adorable and she is going to have her parents wrapped around her little finger in no time.

I can’t wait to finally get out to Illinois and see her!
